Sevilla are the most successful club in the competition, winning in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2023. Atletico Madrid won it three times, Chelsea twice, and Manchester United (2017) and Tottenham (2025, a 1-0 win over United in Bilbao) once each.
Aston Villa became the sixth English club to win it when they beat Freiburg on 20 May 2026.
How it works
