Chelsea won the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 13 July 2025. Cole Palmer scored in the 22nd and 30th minutes and set up Joao Pedro's goal just before half-time.
PSG, who had just won the Champions League, finished with ten men: Joao Neves was sent off in the 84th minute. The attendance was reported as about 81,000, a tournament high. Chelsea became the first winners of the new 32-team format.
The next Club World Cup is planned for 2029. FIFA had not named a host at the time of writing; Brazil, Qatar, Spain and Morocco have all been linked with the tournament.
In context: it is Chelsea's second Club World Cup, after the 2021 edition, which was played in Abu Dhabi in February 2022.
